Baron Kickers Take Loss at Prince Edward
The Bluestone High School boys soccer team fell 3-1 at Prince Edward on Monday, April 22.
The boys played a strong defensive first half with the score at halftime standing at 0-0.
The second half had the same strong start, but Prince Edward scored in 54th minute to break the scoreless tie, followed by another goal in the 56th minute.
Bluestone scored in the 63rd minute with a goal by Zach Newton assisted by Cooper Carter.
Prince Edward later scored its third goal in the 71st minute, leaving the final score at 3-1.
Bluestone fell to 4-3 on the season with the loss.
The Barons’ next game will be held Wednesday, May 24, at home against Amelia County High School.
